Every day all around the world young people gather and carry out actions, pickets, meetings, camps and seminars. There already exist millions of youth organizations and unions, which promote the Millennium Campaign and move on actively to the goals achievement. Not depending on the country you live in – MDG activists are everywhere! But we are not many for this big change to happen and each of us needs your help!
There are many ways of joining the Millennium Campaign. It is very easy – because it is your campaign and, first of all, your interests are represented here. We offer several hints and then only your imagination can help! Good luck!

Had you known about the Millennium Development Goals before you visited this web-site? How many people, for example, in your city still don't know about the MDG? Share your knowledge; tell everybody about the Campaign, why we need it. The fact that people “name” the problem is of great importance. Sometimes it is enough to define the need for taking an action. Tell about the problems, which 8 goals are focused on, show people the facts and open their eyes on what's going on in your town, country, continent, in the whole world!

SEVERAL EXAMPLES OF ACTIONS, DRAWING PEOPLE'S ATTENTION:

Take part in real as well as in virtual discussions about the Millennium Development Goals, invite your friends to join too. Share all together ideas and opinions about the millennium problems and the ways of achieving the goals! (Join a virtual discussion about MDGs organized by NEWLINE Club - http://www.newlineclub.net/projects);

Create your own discussion or another project: create a group of interested people to search the answers to the Millennium questions together. Learn more about how to do it, using NEWLINE resources!

Download flyers and posters of THINK ACT MDGs project and give them out to your relatives, classmates and friends! THINK ACT MDGs – Flyers

Gather a group of students at school or at the university and tell them about the goals, elaborate together some school event, telling more about the millennium goals and introducing the problems of your community;

Write an article to local newspapers and magazines; place your article in our online magazine "LE JOURNAL" http://www.newlineclub.net/jounral

Organize a competition of drawings, posters, flyers, etc. at your school, university, youth club;

Invite a group of your friends and work out outdoor pickets and actions, devoted to the Millennium Goals;

Attach to all your ideas Mass Media and the representatives of local newspapers, TV-channels, etc.;

Organize a youth seminar, festival, concert, performance devoted to the MDGs;

The 8 th goal is focused on "Development of global partnership for development". Partnership of both youth governmental organizations and NGOs as well as commercial and non-profit projects is the base for forming of youth educational community, improving out coordinational efforts to the Millennium Development Goals achievement.

In context of our project and the Millennium Campaign in general it's possible to say that YIEC NEWLINE is being this connecting-link which unites efforts and initiatives of young people of Belarus, involves them in international educational community and with this contributes to forming of global community of young leaders working also with question on the Millennium Goals achievement
