'OUR Belarus' Internet-Game

Dear friends,

we are glad to inform you about the beginning of the Internet-game “OUR Belarus”. It is being organized on Wednesday, November 17 th , 2004 from 13.00 - 16.00 Minsk (14.00 – 17.00 Moscow) by the school educational network iEARN - Belarus (International Education and Resource Network in Belarus) together with Belarusian Alumni Club FIO, with the IATP and Internet-2 project PROON support.

Everybody interested in such questions as history and development of the country, national education, Belarusian culture and its international roots that appear in the contemporary life of the country – is welcome to take part. So can play the teams of schools and other educational institutions, individual participants- young people ages 10 – 25, who have an e-mail address and are able to receive an assignment and send in the answers over email during the time indicated below (Wednesday, November 17 th , 2004 from 13.00 - 16.00 Minsk (14.00 – 17.00 Moscow)).

Participation requirements:

•  Possession of contact email address,

•  Registration during the indicated time: (before 20.00 – Minsk time – October, 27, 2004) informing the game organizers about your email address in order to be included in the email list

•  Ability to receive an assignment on Wednesday, November 17 th , 2004 from 13.00 - 16.00 Minsk (14.00 – 17.00 Moscow) and send in your answers over email.

 

Autumn session of the Internet-game “OUR Belarus” has the following steps:

•  Teams and individual participants registration – before October, 27, 2004

•  Acceptation of the questions examples from the participants – before November, 3, 2004

•  Game procedure itself- November, 17, 2004

•  Announcement of the game results – before December, 1, 2004
